Hello there, I’m sorry it’s been a few weeks since I last posted, it’s been a very busy month for me, with my Solo Exhibition up in Malton, North Yorkshire drawing to a close on the 29th May. It was a wonderful experience and it was so fantastic to share my whole Wild Britain Collection with the lovely folks of Malton. The natural wild beauty of that part of England truly was the perfect place for me to share my 14 original pieces – honouring and respecting the beautiful Wildlife of Great Britain.
I am very delighted to share with you that I have just completed my latest piece, the second in my Wild Soul Collection – Ghost Cheetah.
I first saw the stunning reference photograph I worked with when my lovely friend Marty shared it, this stunning Cheetah literally took my breathe away. She kindly granted me permission to work with her photograph, taken back in 2009, and it has been such a profound experience co-creating with him. I have felt such an array of emotions working with this big, beautiful soul including, heart break, ecstasy, deep peace and joy. Such an old soul who was once in this Cheetah body, full of ancestral wisdom and truth. The many hours I have spent connected with him has shifted me in many different ways and I feel so very grateful and humbled.
These stunning wild cats are the fastest mammals in the world, full of grace, speed and power and yet they face extinction at such an alarming rate, it is truly horrifying. Being hunted by poachers and so called “trophy hunters” still in this day and age, coupled with human encroachment into their home/habitat is bringing this 4 million year old species to it’s knees.
A huge part of why I co create wildlife art is so that I may help to protect these stunning beings and their habitats and so for every single piece of art that I sell of Ghost Cheetah I will be donating at least 10% to Cheetah Conservation Botswana, who are doing such great work to protect these majestic felines and their habitat. So if you invest in my work, know you are also helping to ensure that Cheetah’s are still here in the future and can prosper and thrive.
This original piece is created with soft pastels on pastelmat paper and measures 30x40cm. You can invest in this piece for £255 plus £7.65 UK Royal Mail Special Delivery. If you live outside of the UK please contact me and I will be happy to calculate your postage, always at cost.
My beautiful Sinterix prints (29.7x24cm) are also available to purchase for £35 plus £2.93 UK Royal Mail Signed For.
You can also purchase greetings cards to share Ghost Cheetah with loved ones for just £2.80.
I hope you enjoy connecting with Ghost Cheetah through this image and please do hold a vision with me of these beautiful and powerful beings being protected and given the chance to find balance once more on this beautiful planet.
Love Jules XXX
